Information About Our Housing DevelopmentsAuburn Housing Authority currently owns and operates eight subsidized housing developments. Five are designated for elderly and disabled households, and three for families. Residents of these buildings pay rent based on their household income. We also offer the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program that allows households to locate housing of their choice and receive assistance with the monthly rental amount. Applicants may apply for as many waiting lists as they feel they qualify for, and are interested in, as long as each list is open to new applications. Eligibility is based on total household income and family size. Income limits change annually, and differ between buildings. Your application will be evaluated separately for each waiting list you apply for. The following information is a brief look at our different buildings and programs.
